Have you heard about the volunteer group Rebloom Hawaii?
They re-purpose floral arrangements from weddings and big events and donate them to Hawaiian hospitals and nursing homes. Fantastic idea since most flowers from weddings get thrown away when they still have a lot of life left in them. Tropical arrangements are particularly hardy and can last several days. Consider contacting them if you're a bride-to-be or hosting a big event.
