We got together with a few of our fun seniors from 2009 to do a group shoot. Even though they're all going their separate ways for college we have a feeling they'll always have their Hawaii friendships.

Korean Festival 2009

We "WOmanned" the photo booth at the Korean Festival today. It was so much fun (though a little hot). The booth was set up so that individuals or families could dress up in traditional Korean clothing (hanboks) and then have their pictures taken. Thanks to everyone who stopped by! Waking up 'virtually' too early

Woke up this morning at the crazy hour of 4:50am! What would persuade anyone in their right mind to wake up before necessary? I had to have a chance to check out this PDN virtual trade show (loads cheaper than flying to the mainland to trade shows). I "attended" 2 talks - one on "Capturing Summer Memories" by Me Ra Koh and one "Cutting Edge Wedding Photography" by Kevin Kubota. The wedding photography was all about how to learn the rules and then break them-something we are VERY familiar with. I was also able to check out some printing companies' virtual booths, although you don't come away with the same schwag as you would at a real trade show.

But definitely worth the 2 hours I lost in sleep.

Vacation!

After this graduation season, Nancy & I took a much needed vacation. I went to New York to visit friends and to see my sister & her husband who came up to stay with me. I had a chance to take some pictures in Central Park, which was a fantastic place to take pictures of couples-so romantic!

Graduation is coming up!

We've been SOOOOO busy the last couple weeks with some really great seniors. I can't wait to post some of the new shots! Thanks to all our seniors who have been bragging to their friends about how awesome their sessions were. We've been all over the island and met so many fun women. You make us feel great about what we do. Congratulations to the class of 2009!
